Guaranteeing optimal products from a health and hygiene point of view and providing correct information to the final consumer is the main objective of a wide range of legislation that includes the Community regulations known as the “hygiene package”; these include Regulation (EC) 852/04, which requires the application of the health and hygiene hazards and risks assessment and the drafting of management procedures based on the principles of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) method, Regulation (EC) 178/2002, which guarantees the tracking and traceability of food and beverages, and Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, which safeguards correct information on food and beverages.


In particular, the services involve:


  • Quality control and drafting of documentation according to the HACCP method in food companies in accordance with Regulation (EC) 852/2004;

  • Assistance and support in the application of the self-control system;

  • Business analysis based on current legislation on food and drink health and hygiene and food labelling;

  • Study and drafting of shelf life protocols and challenge tests;

  • Planning and execution of Sampling Plans in collaboration with ACCREDIA-accredited testing laboratories (biological and chemical-physical analyses);

  • Design and implementation of procedures for managing the labelling system (EC Regulation 1169/2011) and traceability (Regulation (EC) 178/02);

  • Preparation and evaluation of the documentation required for the certified start of activity report (SCIA) and its electronic submission;

  • Execution of the first (internal) and second part (c/o suppliers) Audits: HACCP.BRC/IFS method, Traceability Systems;

  • Assistance and support for voluntary Certifications procedures.
